Day One – Game One: For the first time Honor Bowl is expanding to three days and Day one Opening Ceremony match-up will feature two perennial California teams who have never played each other. This is Cathedral Catholics 3rd time playing in The Honor Bowl and Head Coach Sean Doyle cannot be more intrigued with the match up of the Central Catholic Raiders traveling to SoCal from Modesto, CA. Central Catholic is led by Head Coach Roger Canepa who have swept the CIF State Bowl Open-Small Schools four years in a row, not a bad stat for a school of less than 400! Coach Doyle has coached for 30 years and the Dons have 10 section titles and an amazing school stat that boasts a positive 99% college enrollment rate.
