Welcome to the first of four games in the first Arizona Honor Bowl and the first of two Ladies Flag football games.

Mountain View Toros are excited to share in the festivities of The Honor Bowl against a rival Red Mountain! Head Coach Jesus Arzaga will have his Toros prepped to compete where his team had a 13-3 record in 2023. Sophomore QB Tierah Metcalf should scontinue in 2024 as she had 3214 passing yards with 28 TDs along with 111 rushing yards and 5 TDs. Junior RB/WR Sadie Christensen had 885 receiving yards with 7 TDs and also rushed for 173 yards as well. Defensively Senior Kylee Thurman will be a force on the defensive side where she had 97 tackles, 4 sacks and 4 interceptions. Sophomore DB Ginny Wilson had 76 tackles and 31 sacks.

The Red Mountain Ladies Flag Football team had a great inaugural season with a phenomenal 14-1 record. Head Coach Julian Madison expressed his gratitude to have his Ladies Flag team participate in The Honor Bowl – especially before a home crowd! Junior QB Korey Roberts will lead the Mountain Lions Offense where she had 1881 passing yards with 20 TDs. Roberts also rushed for 927 yards and an additional 8 TDs. Junior WR Cadence McCanless had 530 receiving yards and 9 TDs. McCanless also contributed defensively with 70 total tackles. Senior LB Sophia Marquez had 61 solo tackles as well along with Senior DB Trisha Stine who had 55 tackles and 24 sacks.
