Welcome to the Tenth Honor Bowl, a national showcase that provides top high school football programs to play in an event that is ‘more than just a football game!’ Cathedral Catholic High School in beautiful Del Mar Heights of San Diego will be the host for the fourth time and is a special location and is the ‘home’ of the SoCal Honor Bowl. As usual, the list of teams will be compelling with programs that understand hard work equals success.

Welcome to the NorCal – HomeTown Honor Bowl hosted for the first time by Oak Ridge High School in El Dorado Hills, CA. The 2022 NorCal Showcase will have two games played on Friday, September 9. The games pit regional programs together with games that have schools that are excited to be part of The Honor Bowl because of the educational aspect of the Showcase. Oak Ridge High School and the patriotic El Dorado Hills community offer a great venue for The Honor Bowl and we are thrilled to be at Oak Ridge in 2022.

The 2022 Honor Bowl is America’s Finest High School Football Showcase.

The Mission is simple:

Educate students, coaches, and communites about patriotism while raising money for injured, ill, and wounded veterans. We do this during pregame activities, halftime, and post-game to provide experiences that are rarely witnessed or experienced in a high school setting. We are proud to have a strong relationship with the U.S. Marine Corps which helps in our quest to bring a higher awareness of the sacrifices these men and women give to serve our country and keep us safe.

Patriotism

Since 2010, The Honor Bowl has hosted over 200 football teams, schools, and communities. Teams have ranged from Varsity, JV, Freshmen, Junior Programs, Sheriffs, and US Marine Corps squads all playing to honor the men and women who volunteer to protect our freedoms and provide us with the ability to gather and play. We have hosted and educated more than 8,400 student-athletes, 500+ coaches, and thousands of fans from eight different states.

We have hosted and educated more than 8,400 student-athletes, 500+ coaches, and thousands of fans from eleven different states. Many of our games have been shown live on television, computer live stream and most of our games have been streamed to the troops in Afghanistan.

Welcome to The Honor Bowl, America’s finest High School Football Showcase. This is the 12th year for The Honor Bowl which started at Del Oro High School in the Sacramento area. Now after over 1000 games with teams that have traveled from 11 states, The Honor Bowl continues to attract some of the best High School Football Programs in the U.S. Why? We bring an educational experience for athletes, coaches, the fans, and their communities about who the true heroes are: the men and women who volunteer to protect our freedoms and way of life!

The Honor Bowl focuses on making the experience a highlight for each athlete and coach who participates. The event is not just a good football matchup, though we take pride to put together compelling games – the theme of patriotism, respect for our Armed Forces eminates through everything that The Honor Bowl strives to present.
