Here it is: The Finale of a two weekend, nine game Honor Bowl that has been played in both California and Arizona. This is truly a game of the week!

Visiting Centennial Huskies, no stranger to The Honor Bowl is pleased to be part of the first Honor Bowl to be held in Arizona for a rematch against #1 Arizona – Liberty Lions in the nightcap hosted at Liberty High School in Peoria, AZ. Storied Head Coach Matt Logan is pleased to lead his Huskies for the 28 year at the helm knowing that Centennial is recognized as the #1 national Public Football program! Senior QB Husan Longstreet will lead his team where in ’23 he had 3031 passing yards with 24 TDs along with 645 rushing yards and 7 TDs. Senior WR Cory Butler Jr will continue to be a target when he had 837 receiving yards with 6 TDs along with fellow Senior WR Noah Westbrook (469 receiving yards, 9 TDs). Senior DB Charles Castille had 67 tackles and should be a force on the defensive side of the ball.

The Liberty Lions had an outstanding 2023 season – capping off with the #1 Arizona Open Championship and are ready for more in the 2024 season. This will be the 2^nd time that the Lions will play Centennial and the first time they will experience The Honor Bowl. The Lions graduated the majority of key starters after their open championship but coach Thomas will regroup and put another competitive team together for 2024.
