The finale for the 2023 SoCal Honor Bowl is a national Game of the Week! It is always special to have these two teams participate but to have them matched up against each other will be epic!

Punahou will play in The Honor Bowl for the third time and the Buff N’ Blue will bring it. Head Coach Nate Kia has said he is so happy to be back on the mainland – especially to play again in The Honor Bowl. Senior QB Ty McCutcheon will be the Offensive leader for the Buff N’ Blue. On the ground, Senior RB Ala’i Williams will make gains. Senior WR Astin Hange will provide yards in the air.

In 2023, Punahou revealed its renewed Mission and Values statements, after a yearlong process of listening to our students, faculty, staff, families, and alumni. The statements reflect the many voices of our community, who shared with us their perspectives about Punahou and its future. Inspired by the powerful words of Mary Kawena Pukui, a teacher at Punahou during the 1930s, our Mission today is a response in the voice of our students and an expression of the timeless values we share as children of the new spring.
