When Serra Gardena and Long Beach Poly football is mentioned, everyone is in agreement that these two programs have a rich history! The Honor Bowl is ecstatic to have the Cavs match up against the Jackrabbits in the SoCal San Diego Finale game in 2024!

This will be the eighth time that Serra Gardena have been part of The Honor bowl and for Head Coach Scott Altenberg, this game is a special one! #11 Serra plays in a competitive Mission League and always schedules challenging pre-league games and ending up in the semi Southern Section DII finals. Senior QB Jimmy Butler (2088 yards, 21 TDs passing, 379 yards 3 TDs rushing) will lead his Cavs once more on the offensive side of the ball.  Junior RB Nicolas Johnson (251 yards 4 TDs) and Junior Camron Harris-Willcot (606 rushing yards, 5 TDs) along with Senior WR CJ McBean (191 yards 4 TDs), Junior Andre Nickerson (389 yards, 2 TDs) and Sophomore WR/RB Duvay Williams (278 yards, 2 TDs) should continue moving the ball for the Cavs.

This will be the first time that Long Beach Poly will be part of The Honor Bowl and Coach Barbee looks forward to impacting his Jackrabbits with the mission of the event. Wide Outs  Junior Kamarie Smith (832 yards, 11 TDs), Senior Ezekiel Orozco (625 yards, 12 TDs will contribute to the games in 2024. On the other side of the ball, Sophomore CB Julius Johnson (42 tackles) leads the returning defense and will lead the Jackrabbits along with many others in 2024.
