Recognizing that divisive rhetoric permeates nearly every interaction around the social and cultural issues of the day, we engage our community of students, teachers and families in dialogue about how to move the conversation away from an “either/or” mentality to developing a productive, nuanced understanding of our complex and increasingly interconnected world. We believe that our mission as a Catholic, Jesuit school and our subsequent way of proceeding, informed by our Ignatian charism and Catholic Social Teaching, provide a hopeful way through these turbulent times. This path honors the dignity of each individual person, while simultaneously working to repair the frayed fabric of the larger world community. We have found solace in the lessons carried forward for us by others, many taught during similarly challenging times.
Regis Jesuit HC Danny Filleman wanted in for the 2022 Honor Bowl and he got a nod to be the second team to come from Colorado to play in this national showcase. The Raiders were #5 in a competitive state and will eager to represent for the second year in a row, a talented team from the Centennial State. Senior QB Exander Carrol will lead his Raiders as the signal caller after a successful ’21 season with 1482 yds and 14 TDs. Senior WR D’Andre Barnes had 645 yds receiving with 10 TDs. Junior RB Albert Medina will be productive in the backfield with 612 yds and 8 TDs in ’21.
